DSRI Director Sean McGregor Writes on Open Digital Safety
Dr. Sean McGregor, director of Advanced Test Research at our Digital Safety Research Institute (DSRI), is a well-recognized voice in AI safety. Sean recently penned an article for IEEE Computer magazine, titled, “Open Digital Safety," where he explores the cultural mistake of treating safety as proprietary. The article makes the case for establishing safety data as a foundational element of safer digital systems, and how the open source movement can indeed create a safer digital ecosystem.
