3D Printing Emissions Data Portal Featured in 3DPrint.com
The potential human health and air quality impacts from 3D printer emissions is a key area of scientific research at the Chemical Insights Research Institute (CIRI). To help the public make informed environmental health decisions, CIRI recently introduced a data visualization tool that analyzes and visualizes chemical and particle pollution from 3D printers that affect the air we breathe.
An article on 3D Print.com featured CIRI’s interactive tool that allows viewers to search and sort data sets; view data in tables and figures; and download resources. As 3D printing becomes more advanced, CIRI is dedicated to further research on this technology and will continue to provide transparent, science-based resources around the safety of 3D printing.
